Vallourec & Mannesmann Oil & Gas UK Case Study

Vallourec & Mannesmann are world market leader in the manufacture of seamless hot rolled steel tubes for all applications. VMOG UK is the largest UK based manufacturer and supplier of Oilfield Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) to the North Sea Oil & Gas Industry.

At their Bellshill heat treatment and threading plant, VMOG UK needed noise level assessment in the Coupler Shop to determine if hearing protection was required, as well as a hearing screening programme for over 200 employees.

WellHear provided a qualified technician to carry out 24 hour noise monitoring in the coupler shop and professional audiometrician who worked onsite to test staff over a number of weeks, fitting in with the factory's shift pattern.
